ABOUT US
Our Founder
Our founder Carol spent ten years studying in the UK since the age of 11 and graduated from University of Cambridge with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, complemented by additional studies in child development and family relationships. Her educational journey has deeply inspired her vision for Peterhouse Preschool.

After six impactful years in finance, she shifted gears to pursue her passion for education by founding Peterhouse Preschool. Inspired by her experiences, she envisioned a nurturing environment where children move beyond traditional learning methods to foster a genuine love for learning.

At Peterhouse, the focus is on creating a love for discovery and building self-confidence, empowering each child to grow, discover, and succeed well beyond the classroom.
The Journey to Creating Peterhouse Preschool
The journey to creating Peterhouse Preschool began with Jett and Carol's search for the right preschool for their own family.
As they prepared for parenthood, they toured more than 50 schools, each time looking for a place where children could truly enjoy learning while benefiting from a well-rounded, holistic curriculum. However, they struggled to find a preschool that struck the right balance—one that emphasized a love for learning alongside skills beyond academics.
They felt inspired to create their own ideal preschool, a place where children would thrive not only academically but also socially, emotionally, and creatively. And so, Peterhouse Preschool was born, founded on the vision of fostering curiosity, confidence, and joy in every child.

Our Approach
At Peterhouse Preschool, our core curriculum is anchored in the Cambridge Early Years Program, offered by Cambridge Assessment International Education, a part of the University of Cambridge.
We combine this with an inquiry-based approach that encourages curiosity and active learning.
To ensure that our program resonates with local context and meets the unique needs of our community, we have integrated it with our Signature Enrichment Programs for a well-rounded educational experience.
Cambridge Early Years Programme
The Cambridge Early Years Program takes a holistic approach to early childhood education, focusing on physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
The curriculum helps children meet global development milestones and prepares them for a smooth transition to primary school.
Signature Enrichment Programmes
Our enrichment programs are designed to provide a well-rounded experience for children, fostering their growth in confidence, cultural awareness, scientific curiosity, and outdoor learning.
Through engaging, hands-on activities that reflect both global perspectives and local traditions, we aim to nurture well-rounded individuals prepared for a diverse and dynamic world.
